Welcome to GOLD
Access Improvement Programme: 18 Weeks Referral to Treatment online learning now available on GOLD
We are making good progress on our Access Improvement Programme to transform how the whole organisation manages patient referrals, particularly our 18 weeks, or Referral to Treatment (RTT), pathway. As the next step to ensure we meet our obligation to see and treat patients within 18 weeks, RTT online learning is now available on GOLD for all medical staff and Clinical Nurse Specialists with patient caseloads. This training has been designed to help you understand the challenges we are facing and how we can all work together through this process. Staff should complete this training as soon as possible. Thank you for your support in helping to lead this change in the way we work.

Courtroom Skills Training
Wednesday 2nd December 2015, 09.30-16.30hrs, The City of Law School
This course aims to ensure that you understand your role as a witness and the role of others in child protection (public law) and criminal proceedings. You will learn how to prepare for the witness box and how to remain calm when giving evidence as well as appreciating that the way you give your evidence can affect the weight that is attached to it. By the end of the day you should have gained a greater understanding of the court process; learned how to deal with tough cross-examination and developed increased confidence in the witness box. This course is open to anyone who is called or likely to be called to give evidence in a Court of Law. For more information visit the PGME Intranet site.
