Performance & Development Review (PDR) Appraisal Policy Launch

Working in partnership with you, GOSH helps to ensure you are equipped with the right knowledge, skills and attitude to perform your role through the PDR appraisal process. 

Together we deliver safe and effective healthcare services to all our patients and families. To continue to support this, work improvements in the PDR appraisal process have been made.

Launch of the Bilevel Ventilation: using the Stellar 100

This brand new interactive course is primarily aimed at nursing staff and clinical physiologists who use ventilation to treat patients. 

The course explains the general bilevel principles and outlines the practicalities of caring for a patient with particular focus on the ResMed Stellar 100 ventilator.

New course launch - Infection Control: Standard Precautions (clinical) 

Over the past 12 months a number of incidents have highlighted that  understanding of the standard precautions processes is varied. To ensure our clinical staff are supported in delivering the best patient care possible, we have developed a new course. It covers:

  • Your responsibilities regarding risk assessment.
  • The implementation of standard precautions.
  • When to use isolation precautions.
